Partnering with Vision 2020
Our team at Global Retina Institute was a proud supporter of Vision 2020, a World Health Organization committed to ending blindness around the world.
The lack of ophthalmology training for doctors worldwide means that we have barely made a dent in reducing global blindness over the past few decades. We strive to change this. We are committed to helping educate people about eye health, training new doctors in ophthalmology, and traveling to care for eye patients around the world.

Leaving a Lasting Impact
Our humanitarian trips are a life-changing experience for both our doctors and patients. Doctors return home with the skills to practice humanitarian care and clinical expertise locally and globally.
Their time spent with us helps them hone their skills and heighten their awareness of eye conditions through training.
Whether we are working across cultural differences, language barriers, or a lack of resources, practicing global health pushes us to be precise and thoughtful about everything we do, and all of our patients benefit from that precision.
Combining Technology & Training
At Global Retina Institute, we are committed to training retinal surgeons using surgical simulators to help build confidence, improve patient outcomes, and eliminate medical errors.
Our training services allow us to leverage technology to connect with healthcare providers in other countries so they can help others in need.
Our training program also helps our team keep our skills sharp and stay up-to-date on the latest tools and technologies. Learn more about our training services by getting in touch with us.
